The Palouse is an agricultural region of southeast Washington and north-central Idaho known for it's green and wheat colored rolling hills. The Palus tribe occupied this area, and it is thought that French-Canadian fur traders took the tribe name to be pelouse, meaning "land with short and thick grass", and over time it turned into Palouse.
This colorway highlights the green and gold tones of the rolling hills, and has bits of blue and red for an unexpected pop of color.
Photographed in Sport weight.
